1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile picture. When you use our service, we collect the PowerPoint files you upload for redesign and any instructions you provide. We also collect standard usage data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve our slide redesign service, process your payments via Stripe, send you transactional emails (account verification, password resets, job completion notifications), and monitor the platform for technical issues. We do not use your uploaded slides or personal data to train AI models.

3. File Handling

Original uploaded slides are processed in memory and are not stored on our servers. Only the redesigned output files are retained for up to 30 days so you can re-download them from your dashboard. You may delete your redesigned files from our servers at any time before the 30-day automatic deletion. During storage, files are encrypted at rest and transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS/SSL). Only you can access your own files — our system enforces strict access controls.

4. Payment Information

Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, expiration date, or CVV on our servers. Stripe may collect and store payment information in accordance with their own privacy policy. We store only a reference to your Stripe customer account and transaction history (amounts, dates, and receipt links).

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Slide Panda:

Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage (privacy policy). Stripe — payment processing (privacy policy). Vercel — web hosting (privacy policy). Modal — backend AI processing (privacy policy). Resend — transactional email delivery (privacy policy).

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies only, required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. No third-party analytics cookies are used.

7. Data Retention

Original uploaded slides are not stored. Redesigned output files are deleted automatically after 30 days, or earlier if you choose to delete them from your dashboard. Job metadata (dates, status, filenames) is retained for your redesign history. Account data is retained until you request deletion. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can download or delete your redesigned files from your dashboard. To request full account deletion, contact us at the email below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

Slide Panda is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or by displaying a notice on our website. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
